Frequently Asked Questions

What People Are Asking

If you have more questions, feel free to book a free consultation to discuss!

  • No! Conventional therapy typically meets 1x/week and does not offer high levels of support. For those struggling with disordered eating or an eating disorder, treatment includes ongoing support throughout the week through an optional daily thought and food log.

Additionally, I offer therapy sessions 2-3x/week, phone coaching, and other additional support for those that need it. My goal is to provide real-time support so you never have to feel alone on your journey.

  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not take insurance. If you have out-of-network benefits, insurance typically covers 50-90% of the session cost, helping to make therapy more accessible and affordable. I provide all private pay clients with a super bill to submit for reimbursement.

Please reach out if you have questions about pricing per session.

  • The first session will consist of an intake assessment, so that I can understand your needs and provide diagnosis. We’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to understand how they’re impacting your overall well-being. Together we will process your struggles and help you develop and practice coping skills to navigate difficult moments. Throughout treatment I’ll be checking in with you to see how sessions are feeling and to make sure your needs are being met.

  • Sometimes! Depending on a client’s individualized treatment plan, homework may be assigned in between sessions if a client is open and willing to take this on.

  • I work with both adolescents and adults that are motivated for change in their life.

  • Please book a 15 minute consultation call with me so we can determine if it’s the right fit!
